•New Mexico-based Santa Fe Brewing has introduced Santa Fe Gold, a new year-round entry. Billed as an American golden ale, Santa Fe Gold is made with Tettnang and Amarillo hops and a blend of Two-Row Pale, Pilsner, Vienna and Caramel malts. The 4%-abv session ale, which launched in its home market of New Mexico earlier this week, is set to expand across Santa Fe Brewing’s full 10-state footprint by the end of 2015, and is also slated to be the brewer’s first label to debut a 12-pack format later this year. Santa Fe Gold marks the ninth year-round entry for Santa Fe Brewing, joining its Happy Camper IPA, Imperial Java Stout, Santa Fe Pale Ale and Santa Fe Nut Brown labels, among others.

•North Carolina’s Carolina Brewery has expanded into select Tennessee and South Carolina markets. Starting this month, Carolina’s lineup will be available at Whole Foods, Publix, Mellow Mushroom, Harris Teeter and other on- and off-premise accounts throughout key metro markets like Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Carolina Brewery, whose core, year-round portfolio includes its Sky Blue Golden Ale, Flagship IPA and Copperline Amber Ale labels, currently operates a pair of brewpub locations in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, North Carolina, and has a distribution reach spanning both Carolinas and eastern Tennessee.
