•Sebastopol, California-based Paul Hobbs Wines has named Rick Bonitati as chief operating officer. With 30 years of wine industry experience, Bonitati spent 20 years with Jackson Family Wines, in roles including national sales manager of the Artisan and Estates division and senior vice president of production for the family’s wineries in California and Oregon. In his new role, Bonitati will oversee and develop all Paul Hobbs entities, including Paul Hobbs Winery, CrossBarn Winery, Paul Hobbs Imports, Viña Cobos, Crocus and other new projects.

•Atlanta-based sales and consulting group Crafted Brands is launching two new Tequila labels, Maracame ($39.99-$52.99) and Azteca Azul ($19.99), both imported by Chicago-based Global Beverage Team. Made with 100% estate-grown agave, the Tequilas are produced in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. Both brands will be available in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Colorado, Florida and Georgia.

•Guarachi Wine Partners has appointed 25-year drinks industry veteran Daniel O’Leary as West Coast director of national accounts. O’Leary has held national management roles with Seagram’s Gin, The Wine Group and most recently Independent Distillers USA.
