•Belmont, Massachusetts-based retailer Craft Beer Cellar, founded in 2010 by certified cicerones Suzanne Schalow and Kate Baker, has sold a portion of both its franchise company and brand store to friends Joseph Yarid and Marla Yarid-De La Cruz. Marla will take over some day-to-day brand management duties from the founders, while Joseph will remain a silent partner and eventually become part of daily operations by 2017. Craft Beer Cellar’s first franchised store opened in October 2013, and the company now includes a total of 18 stores in 10 states, with more set to open this year.

•Stratford, Connecticut’s Two Roads Brewing is launching Bergamonster Wheat Ale, the latest in its Road Less Traveled series. The 8.2%-abv wheat ale is brewed with bergamot orange peel as well as hops including Citra and Hallertau. Bergamonster is available on draft and in 750-ml. bottles in select accounts in the company’s distribution footprint, which includes Philadelphia, metro New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
