Beam Suntory Names Kraft Heinz Veteran As General Manager, U.S. Marketing

Beam Suntory has created a new general manager position to oversee its U.S. marketing. Effective immediately, the new post will be filled by Greg Hughes, previously vice president, marketing for brands like Miracle Whip, A1 and Kraft-branded products at the Kraft Heinz company. As general manager at Beam Suntory’s U.S. marketing unit, Hughes will oversee three vice presidents leading the company’s Bourbon, World Whiskey and Innovation, and Mixables portfolios respectively. Hughes will report directly to Tim Hassett, Beam Suntory Americas president. His priorities will include driving share growth and demand for the Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Hibiki and Courvoisier brands among others.
