October 1, 2015The Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. (DISCUS) has named Kraig Naasz president and CEO, effective January 1, 2016. Naasz, 55, is currently head of the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI). In addition to AFFI, Naasz previously served as chief executive of the National Mining Association, The Fertilizer Institute and the U.S. Apple Association.
Naasz will replace Peter Cressy, who announced in March that he would be retiring at year-end after a 16-year tenure.
