•Michigan’s New Holland Brewing Company has unveiled four special “reserve batches” of its popular year-round Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel Stout. The release includes four variations on the style—Dragon’s Milk Reserve With Coffee & Chocolate, Reserve With Raspberries, Reserve With Toasted Chilies and Reserve Triple Mash. New Holland says the original Dragon’s Milk, first introduced in 2001 as an annual single-batch release, is now its largest-selling year-round beer. The 2015 Dragon’s Milk reserves are available in four-packs and on draft. This year, New Holland has renovated its production facility for a second time to expand its Dragon’s Milk cellar that can hold the equivalent of 4,850 beer barrels.

•Canada’s Unibroue is debuting a limited edition spiced ale, La Résolution, in the U.S. ahead of the holiday season. The 10%-abv dark ale was created by brewmaster Jerry Vietz and is a balance between spicy, caramel and roasted malt flavors, the company says. La Résolution is available across the U.S. for a limited time in 750-ml. cage-and-cork bottles for $12.99 and on draft. The specialty release will also be offered in 12-ounce bottles in Unibroue’s variety six-pack “Sommelier Selection,” which will be sold for a limited time at $14.99. Unibroue, based in Quebec, brews more than 15 beer brands including La Fin du Monde, Blanche de Chambly and Trois Pistoles.
