•Brooklyn-based Sixpoint Brewery has partnered with Ireland’s Teeling Whiskey Company to release Bang Bang Dudley, a new collaborative brew. Billed as an Irish-style red ale, Bang Bang Dudley is matured in barrels that previously stored Bourbon and rum, and were later used to age Teeling’s Small Batch Irish whiskey. The 9.5%-abv expression will be available for a limited time on draft across Manhattan and Brooklyn. Bang Bang Dudley marks the first U.S. craft beer collaboration for Teeling Whiskey.

•Clifton Park, New York-based Shmaltz Brewing Company has released a limited edition Halloween seasonal, Death Black IPA. Originally a commemorative entry under the label Death of a Contract Brewer, Death Black IPA has been renamed and repackaged, and will be sold in 12-ounce bottle four-packs and on draft through Halloween. The 7%-abv offering, brewed with seven different malts and seven hop varieties, is being distributed across Shmaltz’s 35-state footprint.
