John Esposito Tapped As High West Chief Commercial Officer, Ruvo Joins Board

John Esposito has joined the executive team at Utah’s High West Distillery. Esposito, who has led such companies as Bacardi North America, Moet Hennessy USA and Schieffelin & Somerset during his 40-year drinks industry career, has been appointed as High West’s new chief commercial officer. He was most recently chairman, North America at Stoli Group USA. Esposito was initially tapped to run Stoli USA in 2013, when Stolichnaya owner SPI established its U.S. arm. He was promoted from president to chairman earlier this year.

High West has also brought another leading drinks executive into the fold, naming Gerry Ruvo as the newest member of its board of managers. Ruvo, a longtime executive with Campari America (formerly Skyy Spirits), will maintain his current post as Campari America’s chairman. He’s also chairman of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS).
