•Hawaii’s Maui Brewing has partnered with Cavalier Distributing for entry into the Florida market beginning in November. The brewer’s flagship beers—which include Bikini Blonde Lager, Big Swell IPA, Coconut Porter and Mana Wheat—as well as seasonal and limited releases will be available both packaged and on draft. Maui Brewing currently operates a production brewery and tasting room in Kihei and a brewpub in Kahana. This year the company says it will brew about 40,000 barrels across its 50 styles of craft beer, which are distributed to 13 states.

•Asheville, North Carolina-based Hi-Wire Brewing has been entering new markets following its recent expansion and this month will launch in Tennessee. Lipman Brothers will handle Hi-Wire’s lineup in Tennessee, including its flagship Hi-Pitch IPA, Bed of Nails Brown Ale, Hi-Wire Lager and Prime Time Session Pale Ale, as well as current fall seasonal Strongman Coffee Milk Stout. Over the past six months, Hi-Wire added 27,000 square feet of production space through its new Big Top location in Asheville, and entered the South Carolina market last month. The company has also extended its portfolio with a new series of seasonal lagers.
