•Eugene, Oregon-based Ninkasi Brewing Company is set to begin year-round distribution in the Philadelphia market on November 2. Previously present in Philadelphia only on a special event basis, Ninkasi will now bring its full lineup to the city. Gretz Beer Co. and Penn Beer will distribute Ninkasi’s beers in Philadelphia. Ninkasi, the 36th-ranked craft brewer nationally according to the Brewers Association, is present in 14 U.S. markets.

•Houston’s Saint Arnold Brewing Co. has unveiled Saint Arnold Icon Red, the latest entry in the brewer’s rotating Icon Series. Billed as an American Roggenbier, Icon Red’s recipe is inspired by a traditional German Roggenbier—or rye beer—but features less rye and is hopped like an American pale ale, with Cascade and Chinook hops. The new expression, which comes on the heels of previous Icon Series launch Saint Arnold Icon Gold, will be available in 12-ounce four-packs and on draft.
