Impact Seminar Celebrates 40th Anniversary, Program Announced

M. Shanken Communications, Inc., New York, will host the 40th Annual Impact Marketing Seminar on Thursday, March 10 next year at The Pierre in New York City. Featured speakers on the program are:

-Marvin R. Shanken, Chairman of M. Shanken Communications, who will discuss “Looking Back on 40 Years: Some Highlights”

-Deirdre Mahlan, President, Diageo North America, on “Diageo North America: Looking Forward”

-Mike Dolan, CEO, Bacardi Ltd. on “New Strategies for Growth at Bacardi”

-Sandra LeDrew, President-Americas, Treasury Wine Estates, on “Treasury’s Growing Premium Portfolio”

-Simon Hunt, Chief Commercial Officer, William Grant & Sons, on “Scotch Whisky and Beyond”

-Roger Nabedian, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Premium Wine Division, E&J Gallo Winery, on “Embracing Change: Gallo’s Evolution with America’s Wine Consumers.”

In addition, there will be a retailer panel discussion featuring Chris Adams, CEO of New York’s Sherry-Lehmann; Michael Binstein, owner of Chicago-based Binny’s Beverage Depot; Christian Navarro, Partner of Los Angeles-based Wally’s Wine & Spirits, and John Rydman, CEO of Houston-based Spec’s Wines, Spirits and Finer Foods.

A welcoming reception on Wednesday evening, March 9 will be sponsored by William Grant & Sons, and hosted by CEO Stella David, Chief Commercial Officer Simon Hunt and President & Managing Director-North America Jonathan Yusen. Details will be announced.
