•Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is rolling out three limited edition straight rye whiskey expressions under its Redemption Whiskey brand in a new collection. The Aged Barrel Proof Collection of straight rye whiskey includes an Aged 7 Years (122.6 proof, $79.99), 8 Years (121.5 proof, $89.99) and 10 Years (110.1 proof, $129.99), all of which were distilled from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and aged in charred new oak barrels. The Redemption portfolio of whiskies includes Redemption Straight Rye Whiskey, High Rye Bourbon and Redemption Bourbon. In July, Deutsch acquired the fast-growing brand that has tripled in size over the past two years.

•California craft brewers Sierra Nevada and Stone Brewing have collaborated to produce Stone & Sierra Nevada NxS IPA. To create the beer, two versions of a barrel-aged India Pale Ale—one aged in gin-infused Bourbon barrels and the other in rye whiskey barrels—were blended with a dry-hopped version of the same brew featuring Magnum, Amarillo, Chinook, Centennial, Mosaic and Cascade hops. The 8.2%-abv Stone & Sierra Nevada NxS IPA is available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft at select retailers.
