•St. Louis-based Schlafly Beer has extended its year-round lineup with the launch of Grapefruit IPA. Fermented with a natural grapefruit puree, the 5%-abv entry is brewed with Citra, Cascade and Chinook hops and an American ale yeast. Grapefruit IPA will be available in six-packs, priced at $8.99 each, and on draft across Schlafly’s U.S. footprint. The expression marks the first new release to join Schlafly’s year-round stable since 2007, joining its Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, Dry Hopped APA, Kolsch and Oatmeal Stout.

•Eugene, Oregon’s Ninkasi Brewing Co. has added Helles Belles and Easy Way IPA to its core portfolio for 2016. Starting this January, Helles Belles, a 5.3%-abv German-style Helles Lager, and Easy Way IPA, billed as a sessionable 4.7%-abv India Pale Ale, will be available year-round in bottles and on draft. The pair join Total Domination IPA, Tricerahops Double IPA, Dawn Of The Red IRA, Lux Helles Lager, Oatis Oatmeal Stout and Vanilla Oatis Oatmeal Stout in Ninkasi’s year-round lineup, which is currently available across 13 markets in the U.S.
