•Paso Robles, California-based Firestone Walker Brewing Company is extending distribution of its 805 Blonde Ale outside its home state for the first time with entry to Arizona, Nevada and Texas. In Arizona, 805 will be handled by Hensley Distributing in Phoenix and Finley Distributing in Tucson, while in Nevada, Southern Wine & Spirits will distribute it to Las Vegas and Reno. In Texas, 805 will be offered through Brown Distributing in Austin, Andrews Distributing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Corpus Christi and Silver Eagle Distributors in Houston and San Antonio. Firestone Walker merged with Duvel Moortgat USA last summer, to form a combined entity with volume of around 500,000 barrels.

•Boardman, Oregon’s Ordnance Brewing is expanding in a move that will raise capacity to more than 50,000 barrels annually. The company is adding a four-vessel 50-barrel system that will allow it to add new distribution territory for its core brews while experimenting with new styles such as barrel-aged beers. The company’s core lineup includes Rivercrest Kolsch (5.5% abv), RX Pale Ale (5.6% abv), Full Metal Jacket IPA (6.6% abv) and Old Craig English Strong Ale (8.7% abv), with limited edition releases this year expected to be Double Recoil IPA and Bloops Blueberry Wheat Beer.
