•Gatlinburg, Tennessee’s Sugarlands Distilling Company is adding to its product line with the launch of Rye Apple Moonshine. The 80-proof, apple-infused rye moonshine was created by Sugarlands in collaboration with moonshine distillers Mark Ramsey and Digger Manes. The newcomer joins 11 other moonshine offerings in the Sugarlands lineup, which was launched in 2014 and is currently available in 16 U.S. markets.

•Jeff Zappelli has been named general manager of Walt Wines, the Sonoma-based Pinot Noir and Chardonnay brand owned by Craig and Kathryn Hall. Zappelli joined Hall in 2006 and has led its direct-to-consumer programs. In his new role, Zappelli will be responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the Walt brand, which launched in 2012.
