•Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) and Pabst Brewing Company (PBC) have entered into a new brewing agreement, under which PBC subsidiary Rainier Brewing Company will begin brewing its Rainier Pale Mountain Ale, among other brands, at CBA’s Woodinville, Washington-based Redhook Brewery this spring. PBC also has the option to purchase the Woodinville site at any time over the next three years. The move comes as CBA embarks on an expansion of its Portland, Oregon brewery to an annual capacity of 750,000 barrels and breaks ground on a new 100,000-barrel brewery in Hawaii. According to CBA chief operating officer Scott Mennen, the partnership will allow CBA to best utilize its Woodinville site as the company shifts a growing portion of its production to Portland.
