•Sonoma-based Landmark Vineyards has acquired Hop Kiln Vineyards, located in the Russian River Valley. A subsidiary of The Wonderful Company (formerly Roll Global)—which also owns Paso Robles’ Justin Vineyards & Winery and Fiji Water, among other brands—Landmark is known for its super-premium Overlook Chardonnay and Pinot Noir label.

•The David Burke Group has opened a new market-to-table restaurant in downtown Aspen, Colorado, called Aspen Kitchen, under the supervision of head chef Matthew O’Neill, formerly at the Little Nell in Aspen and Restaurant Daniel in New York. Sommelier Joshua Benjamin, formerly at the Post Hotel in Lake Louise, Alberta, will oversee a 600-label wine list, along with a craft beer program and cocktail list. The venue has inside seating for 135 and outside seating for 128.
