March 24, 2016•Oregon’s Full Sail Brewing is adding two new brews, Hop Pursuit IPA and Blood Orange Wheat Ale. Hop Pursuit, a 6.5%-abv India Pale Ale, will be distributed year-round. Blood Orange Wheat, which is 5.2% abv and brewed with a hint of citrus, is joining Full Sail’s Pub Series of rotating brews, and will be available from April through August. Both new offerings will be sold in six-packs, on draft and as part of the Full Sail Trophy Case variety 12-pack.
•Elk Rapids, Michigan-based Short’s Brewing Company is set to begin packaging their craft beers and Starcut Ciders in canned format. The initial canned launch will include Short’s flagship beers—Huma Lupa Licious IPA, Soft Parade Fruit Rye Ale, Local’s Light American Lager and Space Rock America Pale Ale—and hard cider Octorock. The company’s new canning line will be installed this month, with cans expected to roll out to market in April.
