•Prestige Wine & Spirits has added Tuscany’s Cantine Bonacchi to its U.S. import stable. Established in 1970 in the Chianti region, Cantine Bonacchi specializes in affordable estate-grown and -bottled wines. Under the partnership, Prestige Wine will handle Bonacchi’s Chianti Riserva DOCG ($12 a 750-ml.), Badesco ($17), Rosso di Montalcino DOC ($18) and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG ($35) labels in select U.S. markets.

•California’s O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has named Mark Federighi as senior vice president, chief sales officer. Federighi was previously vice president of strategic retail and national accounts at Young’s Market Co., and has also spent time with Diageo, Gallo, Skyy Spirits and Pepsi over a two-decade career in the drinks business. O’Neill projects that its Line 39 wine brand will rise about 50% to 300,000 cases this year. Other key brands include Harken, Redtree, Austerity, Backhouse, Camelot, Allegro, Exitus and Flat Rock.
