•Beach Whiskey has made a series of appointments to its executive team.Former Sidney Frank Importing Co. executive vice president Bill Henderson has been named Beach Whiskey’s chief marketing officer, while Denise Raab, who most recently served as Sidney Frank’s state manager for New York, has been named regional vice president of sales. Concurrently, on-premise veteran Michael Tolley has joined the brand as vice president, on-premise sales and training. Established by a group of entrepreneurs—including J. Smoke Wallin and Ken Austin—in 2015, Beach Whiskey ($23.99 a 750-ml.) features Bonfire Cinnamon (35% abv) and Island Coconut (26% abv) flavored expressions and is set to launch across Florida, California and New York this summer.

•Foley Family Wines and Bill Foley have appointed Michael Michaud as consulting winemaker and Gianni Abate as associate winemaker for Chalone Estate Vineyards. Michaud was previously the winemaker at Chalone Estate from 1979-1997 before working on his own vineyard in the Chalone AVA. Abate most recently made wine at Morgan Winery in Salinas. He also has held roles at Robert Mondavi, Woodbridge, Bronco and Delicato Winery. Known for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the 1,000-acre Chalone Estate was recently sold to Bill Foley by its former owner Diageo, which purchased it for $260 million in 2004.
