April 27, 2016•Stone Brewing is rolling out a new Enjoy By 05.30.16 Tangerine IPA this week. Part of Stone’s “Enjoy By” fresh beer program, the newcomer is made with 10 hop varieties and pureed tangerines. Designed to be consumed by the 30th of May, Stone’s new Tangerine IPA is debuting in 22-ounce bottles, six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft across the company’s national footprint.
•Sierra Nevada is partnering with Bamberg, Germany brewer Mahrs Bräu on an upcoming Oktoberfest seasonal beer. The collaboration brew, which will hit retail shelves in August, is described as a traditional festival lager featuring the nearly-forgotten Record hop varietal and characterized by multi-layered malt complexity. Sierra Nevada links with a different German brewer each year to create its annual Oktoberfest seasonal.
•New York’s Yonkers Brewing Co. has unveiled Shower Time Pale Ale as its latest seasonal entry. Previously a draft-only brew available solely at Yonkers Brewing’s restaurant and brewery, Shower Time Pale Ale is billed as a more balanced and less bitter play on a traditional American Pale Ale. The seasonal, which will be sold through September, is available in bottles and on draft at select retail and on-premise accounts throughout New York, including DeCicco, Stew Leonard’s and Whole Foods, among others.
