•Scottish craft brewer Innis & Gunn has launched a new limited-edition brew, Innis & Gunn Vintage. Brewed with crystal malt, roasted barley and Styrian and Goldings hops, Vintage is aged in first-fill American Bourbon barrels for 100 days, then bottled with live yeast to create natural carbonation. The 7.7%-abv entry is available in 25-ounce bottles across 22 U.S. markets, retailing at around $20. Innis & Gunn is handled in the U.S. by Connecticut-based United States Beverage.

•San Diego’s AleSmith Brewing has forged a new deal with Ben E. Keith Company to markedly expand its Texas footprint. Starting next month, AleSmith’s beers will be available throughout the greater Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Galveston metro areas, joining the brewer’s existing presence in Dallas/Fort Worth and Southern Texas. Ben E. Keith will launch AleSmith’s core IPA, Nut Brown English-style ale and Lil’ Devil Belgian-style pale ale into the new markets, with additional year-round, specialty and seasonal offerings slated to follow. AleSmith Brewing’s current distribution reach spans 20 states.
