•San Diego-based Alpine Beer Company is rolling out its Willy Vanilly American wheat ale nationwide. Formerly a draft-only option at Alpine’s tasting room and restaurant, the vanilla-spiced ale will now be available year-round in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft. Alpine’s other year-round, packaged offerings include Duet IPA, Hoppy Birthday Pale Ale, Mandarin Nectar Orange Blossom Honey Ale with Orange Zest and Coriander, and Pure Hoppiness Double IPA. Alpine was acquired by fellow San Diego brewer Green Flash in 2014.

•Geneva, New York-based Three Brothers Wineries & Estates has opened a new multimillion-dollar, 2,100-square-foot brewery and cidery, home of its War Horse Brewing Company. War Horse has been utilizing contract brewers for the past eight years. The new Geneva facility features a 15-barrel brewhouse and four 30-barrel fermenters for beer and hard sodas, along with four 3,000-gallon tanks for the Red Apple Bombshell brand of hard ciders. It’s also planning a series of barrel-aged beers. War Horse will initially package its products in kegs and 8-ounce and 16-ounce cans for regional distribution. The core range includes Peacebomber Riesling Ale, Oatmeal Stout, Grape Sour and Session IPA, among others.

•Pennsylvania’s Victory Brewing is set to distribute its year-round Prima Pils label in cans for the first time this summer. Previously available only in bottles and on draft, Prima Pils is rolling out in 12-ounce cans across Victory’s 37-state footprint, retailing at $9.99 a six-pack. In addition to the new cans, Prima Pils is getting refreshed labeling across its bottles and tap handles, which puts emphasis on its “Perfection since 1996” tagline. Victory recently joined forces with Western New York’s Southern Tier Brewing to create a new company, Artisanal Brewing Ventures, which had total volume of 250,000 barrels last year.
