•Several major Bordeaux players have hit the market with futures prices for the 2015 vintage in recent days, with Château Margaux, Château Pichon Lalande, Château Palmer and Château Cos-d’Estournel among them. Wine Spectator has the latest updates and analysis on the 2015 Bordeaux futures campaign.

•Grey Goose is kicking off its summer Boulangerie Bleue campaign, beginning with a pop-up experience in New York running from June 16-19. According to brand-owner Bacardi, the pop-up will see its invited guests “transported to the French Riviera via a secret entrance through a traditional French bakery to enjoy an immersive experience created by an influential list of culinary, cocktail and music partners.” Speaking on the new initiative with SND recently, Grey Goose global vice president Tom Swift explained, “The definition of luxury has changed. It’s now more about rarity of experience than tangible possessions, and we’re looking to provide those extraordinary experiences.” Boulangerie Bleue, which will promote the Le Grand Fizz cocktail (Grey Goose with St.-Germain, lime and soda water in an oversized wine glass), will travel to multiple global cities over the summer.

•Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is debuting a new Italian wine label, Mamma Mia Wines. Including a red and white blend (both positioned at around $12 a 750-ml.), Mamma Mia is sourced from southern Italy’s Puglia region. Intended as a food-friendly range of wines to pair with Italian and other cuisines, Mamma Mia is launching nationwide this summer.

•Michael Volke has been named CEO of Mast-Jägermeister effective October 1, replacing current head of the executive board Paolo Dell’ Antonio, who has decided to leave the company. Volke previously led Jägermeister’s sales and marketing in Western Europe and the Americas. Meanwhile, deputy chairman Florian Rehm will become chairman of Mast-Jägermeister’s supervisory board on October 1, replacing Berndt-Michael Winter, who will become deputy chairman.
