•Delaware-based Dogfish Head has unveiled Flesh & Blood IPA, a new citrus-infused beer. Hitting shelves the weekend of July 4, Flesh & Blood is a 7.5% abv IPA brewed with lemon flesh and blood orange juice. In announcing the launch, Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione noted that the fruit-infused IPA segment grew by more than 800% last year. Dogfish Head’s distribution footprint currently spans 31 states.

•Portland, Oregon craft spirits producer Eastside Distilling has appointed Jay Harkins to the new position of executive vice president of sales. Harkins, who was previously CEO of Blackheath Beverage Group, has also held senior sales roles with Domaine Select Wine Estates and Southern Wine & Spirits during his two decades in the spirits industry. He’s tasked with driving sales for the Eastside portfolio and overseeing the distiller’s national rollout. Founded in 2008, Eastside’s lineup includes Barrel Hitch American Whiskies, Burnside Bourbon, Below Deck Rums, Portland Potato Vodka and a stable of infused whiskies.
