•MillerCoors continues to add to its craft beer portfolio at a rapid pace, announcing a deal to acquire a majority interest in Granbury, Texas-based Revolver Brewing. Revolver is known for its Blood & Honey brand, which has quickly become one of the leading craft labels in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Revolver will operate as a separate business unit of MillerCoors’ Tenth and Blake division. The craft buy is the third in a month for MillerCoors, which also recently added Georgia’s Terrapin and Oregon’s Hop Valley to its stable.
•Milwaukee’s MKE Brewing Company is expanding operations with the lease of a 58,000-square-foot brewing space at the former Pabst brewery. Looking long-term, MKE’s plans for the site include hosting its brewing operations, a tasting room, event space and beer garden. The company will continue to operate its 2nd Street brewery in addition to the new space.
