August 24, 2016•Florida-based importer Enovation Brands, known for wine labels like Voga Italia, Luna di Luna and Ca’ Montini, is entering the spirits market with the launch of Zamaca ($24), a liqueur produced from Peruvian Maca root. The new 69-proof offering has a neutral spirit base and includes Maca root and elderflower. Enovation plans to focus on on-premise channels in growing the brand, which will be available nationwide.
•A-B InBev’s Bud Light Lime-A-Rita has launched seasonal entry Cherry-Ahhh-Rita. The new flavored malt beverage offering will be on the market from now until March 6, 2017 in 12-packs of eight-ounce cans, four-packs of 16-ounce cans and 25-ounce cans. The Rita franchise’s year-round flavors include Lime, Strawberry, Mango, Watermelon, Lemonade and Raspberry.
