•Pernod Ricard is introducing a new permanent expression in its single pot still Irish whiskey range, Redbreast Lustau Edition. Launching in the U.S. in October, the new entry was initially matured in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks, then finished for one year in Sherry butts from Bodegas Lustau. Retailing at around $69 a 750-ml., Redbreast Lustau Edition is at 46% abv.

•This fall, Constellation Brands is rolling out new packaging for California’s Robert Mondavi Private Selection. The updated look features a new color scheme and bottle shape with broader shoulders and a tapered look for the red wines, along with heavier glass weight. The portfolio will also see two new screwcap bottles for its Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio varietals. The new packaging for Robert Mondavi Private Selection will roll out to retailers nationwide beginning this month, retailing at $10.99 a 750-ml. After hovering at about 1.8 million cases in the U.S. for several years, Robert Mondavi Private Selection declined 7% to 1.7 million cases in 2015, according to Impact Databank.
