•Chicago-based Revolution Brewing is set to enter the New York City market on October 3. Partnering with Manhattan Beer Distributors, Revolution will initially launch its Anti-Hero and Mosaic Hero IPAs in the market, as well as its seasonal Oktoberfest, small-batch kegs and the Deep Wood series of barrel-aged beers. Revolution’s other markets include Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio and Wisconsin. The company is ranked as the nation’s 50th-largest craft brewer, according to the Brewers Association.

•Oregon craft producers Deschutes Brewery and Bendistillery have collaborated on a new Black Butte Whiskey. Currently launching in Oregon in limited quantities, Black Butte was distilled from the wash of Deschutes’ Black Butte Porter brew and aged in new #4 char American oak barrels. Deschutes and Bendistillery expect the next batch of Black Butte Whiskey to debut by the end of 2017.
