•Total Wine & More is set to open its second Houston-area store tomorrow, January 26. Located in Friendswood, Texas, the new outpost joins Total’s existing Willowbrook store in the region, which is the home base of rival chain Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods. With the new opening, Total Wine will have 12 locations in the Lone Star State, covering the Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin markets in addition to Houston.

•Italy’s Risata Wines has extended its portfolio with the launch of Risata Red Moscato. Made with grapes from Northern Italy’s Piedmont region, Risata Red Moscato retails at $16 a 750-ml. It joins Risata Wines’ existing lineup of Prosecco, il Rosso, Moscato d’Asti and Pink Moscato. Risata is handled in the U.S. by Prestige Beverage Group and grew 11% to 390,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.

•ROK Drinks has added two new offerings to its Bogart’s Spirits range: Bogart’s Rum and Bogart’s Irish whiskey. The pair will be available at retail beginning in April, priced at around $26-$28 a 750-ml. Launched in 2014 in partnership with the Humphrey Bogart Estate, the Bogart’s Spirits portfolio also includes Bogart’s Gin and Bogart’s Vodka. ROK Drinks is a division of consumer products company ROK Stars, co-founded by John Paul DeJoria and Jonathan Kendrick. In addition to Bogart’s, ROK Drinks markets the ABK Beer, Graffiti Wine, Bandero Tequila and UB Real Irish whiskey brands.
