•California’s Tom Gore Vineyards, part of the Constellation portfolio, is extending its lineup with a new Alexander Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The expression will be available nationwide, priced at $40 a 750-ml. The Reserve Cab marks the fifth offering in Tom Gore Vineyards’ portfolio, joining the brand’s Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Reserve Field Blend.
•Delicato Family Vineyards is adding a rosé to its Noble Vines Collection. The brand’s new Vine Select 515 Rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and other varietals sourced from the California Coast. Retailing at $14.99 a 750-ml., the newcomer joins 337 Cabernet Sauvignon, 667 Pinot Noir, 181 Merlot, 446 Chardonnay, 242 Sauvignon Blanc and The One Black red blend in the Noble Vines range, which is currently growing at about 8%, according to Delicato.
•Gruppo Campari’s Appleton Estate rum has unveiled Joy Anniversary Blend, the brand’s first 25-year-old rum. Created to commemorate the career of 20-year Appleton Estate master blender Joy Spence, the 90-proof limited release is a blend of several hand-selected marques, including liquid that has been aged a minimum of 25 years. In addition to the Joy Anniversary Blend ($250 a bottle), the Appleton Estate portfolio also includes a Signature Blend, Reserve Blend, Rare Blend 12-year-old, 21-year-old Jamaica Rum and 50-year-old Jamaica Rum.
•MillerCoors has extended its Redd’s franchise with the launch of Wicked Strawberry Kiwi, a new limited release. The 8%-abv entry will be available in 24-ounce cans, 16-ounce cans and 12-packs of 10-ounce cans. Redd’s Wicked Strawberry Kiwi marks the second flavor in the brand’s Wicked Limited Release series, following Wicked Blood Orange, which is set to be re-launched later this year.
