•Online retailer Amazon has launched two-hour wine, beer and spirits deliveries on its Alexa voice shopping platform in select cities. Available as part of Amazon’s Prime Now membership program, free two-hour alcohol delivery is currently operating in Seattle, with beer- and wine-only deliveries available in Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio. I.D. is required upon delivery. Amazon’s Alexa voice shopping application allows consumers to order products by asking for them aloud and runs via devices such as the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Fire Tablet and Fire TV.

•Pernod Ricard’s Martell Cognac has launched a new offering, Martell VS Single Distillery, in select U.S. markets. A blend of eaux-de-vie sourced from a single distillery, the new expression is available across California, Washington D.C., Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, Texas and Michigan, retailing at $35 a 750-ml. Martell VS Single Distillery joins Martell’s existing VS ($41), VSOP ($52), Cordon Bleu ($185) and XO ($185) labels, as well as a variety of specialty offerings. Martell sells 105,000 nine-liter cases annually in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Jackson Family Wines is debuting a new Monterey Pinot Noir Rosé under its La Crema brand. Retailing at $20 a 750-ml., the newcomer is fermented in 100% stainless steel at cool temperatures. La Crema’s new rosé joins Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir in the brand’s Monterey series. According to Impact Databank, La Crema sells about 1.2 million cases in the U.S. annually.

•Baileys is introducing its Almande Refresh offshoot nationwide this week. In 2016, the almond milk and vanilla liqueur was successfully tested in Denver, Dallas and Austin. Baileys’ newest product is dairy-free, gluten-free and certified vegan. To promote the national launch, Baileys has collaborated on a line of cocktails featuring Almande Refresh with Vita Coco Coconut Water. Almande Refresh’s successful test helped drive renewed growth for Baileys last year, as the Diageo brand rose 1% to 1.3 million cases in the U.S. after declining in previous years. Baileys Almande Refresh is 13%-abv and retails at about $21 a 750-ml. bottle.

•Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits has renewed its exclusive marketing partnership with Sonoma Valley’s Kunde Family Winery. The extended deal is effective through 2031. Deutsch has represented the Kunde Family Winery, which sells around 60,000 cases annually, since 2004. In addition to Kunde, Deutsch’s California wine stable includes the Joseph Carr, Josh Cellars and The Calling brands, among others. CJ

•Southern Glazer’s (SGWS) has appointed Tim Redell as senior vice president and managing director of the company’s business with Campari America. After a new agreement earlier this year, SGWS and Campari are linked across more than 40 U.S. markets. Redell joined SGWS a year ago as vice president and General Manager, East Region, for the Transatlantic Spirits division, managing the Bacardi USA, Patron Spirits, and Heaven Hill portfolios.
