Craft Brewing and Distilling News for April 10, 2017

•D.G. Yuengling & Son is now sponsoring the Philadelphia Phillies. The move makes Yuengling the first new beer sponsor for the Phillies in almost 40 years. The multi-year sponsorship agreement nets Yuengling three signs advertising the brewery’s most popular beer, Yuengling Traditional Lager. Yuengling’s Lager, Light Lager and Black & Tan are all sold at the team’s Citizens Bank Park. The sponsorship agreement begins on the Phillies’ home opening day, April 7. D.G. Yuengling & Son is the largest craft brewery in the country by sales volume, according to the Brewers Association.
