April 14, 2017•Full Sail Brewing Company has released a new American blonde ale, Exit 63. The 5%-abv ale is brewed with glacial water from springs near Mt. Hood and features hops from Oregon and Washington. Full Sail’s Exit 63 Blonde Ale is now available year-round in 12-ounce cans in six or 12-packs, and on draft. Six-packs will retail at around $9 and 12-packs at around $15 across Full Sail’s distribution territory.
•Sasquatch Brewing Co. is expanding with a new brewery located in a 4,000-square-foot warehouse in northwest Portland, Oregon. The new location will have a 15-barrel system and two 90-barrel cider fermenters to allow the company to continue to grow and offer new beers. On April 21, the brewery will hold an opening party featuring three new additions to the Sasquatch family: a Kolsch, an Amber and a Grapefruit IPA. The tasting room at the new brewery will have 22 taps with Sasquatch beers and ciders, as well as local wines on tap. Sasquatch’s original Portland brewery will remain open to focus on experimental recipes.
