Biagio Cru Debuts “Rosé All Day” Wine Brand
April 25, 2017In May, Biagio Cru Wines & Spirits will release “Rosé All Day,” an approachably priced French rosé intended to capitalize on the popular social media tag used to share rosé as a lifestyle product. Biagio’s “Rosé All Day” ($13 a 750-ml.) is a 100% Grenache rosé sourced from the Languedoc-Roussillon region. It’s launching nationwide in both retail and on-premise outlets.
“We’re essentially attaching ourselves to a movement,” says Biagio principal Darren Restivo, who adds that the company is targeting sales of about 25,000 cases of the new product for this year. “The tag ‘Rosé all day’ has quickly became a global phenomenon,” Restivo says, noting that there are nearly 200,000 Instagram posts tagged with #roseallday, as well as wide engagement with the term on other social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat. —Shane English
