•Oregon’s Full Sail Brewing Co. is launching Kentucky Cream Bourbon Barrel Aged Pale Ale. The 10%-abv beer is brewed using grains common to Bourbon (corn, barely and rye) before aging in ex-Woodford Reserve Double Oaked and Old Forester Bourbon barrels for a year. Beginning next week, Full Sail’s Kentucky Cream Bourbon Barrel Aged Pale Ale will be available on draft and in 22-ounce bottles in limited quantities acrosss the brewery’s 28-state distribution footprint.

•California-based Firestone Walker has released the latest edition in its rotating hop IPA series. Luponic Distortion Revolution No. 006 is brewed with seven different types of hops, including some Michigan-grown varieties. According to the brewers, the hops grown in Michigan are less piney and more citrus-driven than the same varieties grown in the Northwest. Firestone Walker’s Luponic Distortion Revolution No. 006 is now available throughout the company’s distribution area. The Luponic Distortion series rotates approximately every 90 days as Firestone Walker releases new hoppy experiments.
