•Oregon’s Full Sail Brewing has added a new beer to it Sessions Series: Watermelon Wheat Ale. The 5.4%-abv wheat ale is brewed with 2-row Northwest Pale malt, malted wheat and unmalted wheat as well as Hallertauer and Crystal hops for a medium-bodied beer. The brewers add watermelon to add a touch of fruity-sweetness. Full Sail Session Watermelon Wheat Ale is available now through August in 12-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft throughout the company’s 28-state distribution area.

•Cincinnati-based MadTree Brewing will expand distribution to all of Ohio and Kentucky beginning in August. The brewery has paired with Cavalier Distributing in Ohio and Beer House Distributing in Kentucky. Currently, MadTree’s beers are distributed in three counties in Northern Kentucky and in all but Northeast Ohio. The distributors will have access to MadTree’s core, seasonal and limited-release beers. MadTree announced the partnership following a production expansion that will allow the brewery to produce more than 30,000 barrels annually.
