•Heineken’s Strongbow Hard Apple Cider will launch a new Artisanal Blend at the end of the summer. The new offering is a blend of cold-pressed heirloom apple varieties with a lightly sweet flavor profile. The 6%-abv cider will be available in six-packs of 11.2-ounce bottles as well as variety 12- and 24-packs. To kick off the launch, Heineken will offer four-packs of mini-cans at an SRP of $1. The new cider blend will roll out nationwide beginning in September.

•Heaven Hill Brands’ Deep Eddy Vodka has named Matthew Pechman to the role of vice president of marketing. He will report directly to Deep Eddy president John Scarborough. Pechman joins Deep Eddy from Infinium Spirits, where he most recently served as vice president, marketing and innovation. He has also previously held several corporate and brand positions at Diageo, working with both Crown Royal Canadian whisky and Tanqueray gin.
