•New Jersey-based Royal Wine Corp. has extended its Bartenura brand with a new Sparkling Moscato Rosé, retailing at $14.99 a 750-ml. Bartenura, known for its Italian Moscatos, has roughly doubled in size in the U.S. since 2011, according to Impact Databank, and is poised to cross a half-million cases this year. Royal Wine has also recently launched boutique Israel-sourced label Vitkin in the U.S. Based outside Tel Aviv, Vitkin’s lineup includes a white blend and rosé retailing at $22.99 a 750-ml., with more wines to be added looking ahead. Royal Wine’s range also includes offerings from California, France, Spain, New Zealand and Argentina.

•Bronco Wine Co. has named Jeff Bennett director of on-premise national accounts. Bennett previously led Pabst Brewing’s on-premise chain business, serving in that role for six years. California-based Bronco is the eighth-largest wine marketer in the U.S. by volume according to Impact Databank, with annual sales of approximately 8 million cases.
