•Taste, a new app that crowdsources restaurant and bar reviews, has launched in 29 U.S. markets. The app offers a twist on the concept of user generated reviews: instead of rating a restaurant on a numeric scale, Taste’s users choose a favorite restaurant in each of the app’s categories (coffee, burgers, drinks) and the app displays whichever restaurants receive the most votes. Taste is available for free for iPhones and can be found on the App Store.
