August 8, 2017•Boulder, Colorado’s Avery Brewing Company has introduced Rumpkin, the latest edition in its Annual Barrel Series. The 16.9%-abv pumpkin beer is brewed with pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger, and then aged in rum barrels for four months. The new brew is available in 12-ounce bottles from August through October. Avery Brewing has a U.S. footprint spanning 39 states.
•Rhode Island-based Narragansett Beer has released Bancroft Up or Down Ale, the latest entry in the brewer’s collaborative Hi Neighbor Mash-Up series. Created in partnership with Rhode Island’s Bancroft Tennis Company, Bancroft Up or Down Ale is a 4.2%-abv brew made with Cascade and Chinook hops. The new offering will be available in six packs of 16-ounce cans ($10.99), distributed across New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington D.C., Maryland, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Virginia, as well as Portland, Oregon and Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
