•St. Louis’s Schlafly Beer has relaunched its Pilsner, one of the brewery’s original offerings that had been discontinued. Schlafly’s Pilsner is a 5%-abv lager that’s made with German hops. The beer is available throughout Schlafly’s distribution footprint in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles for around $9. Schlafly beers are available in 13 states and Washington D.C. The Pilsner is also available on draft at the Schlafly Taproom and Schlafly Bottleworks in Missouri.

•Los Angeles-based Angel City Brewery is set to release SaazBerry fruit ale on September 4. The 4.8%-abv beer is brewed with Saaz hops, raspberry, blueberry and elderberry for a fruit-forward beer with the hoppiness of a European Pilsner. On September 16 and 17 the brewery will host a launch party featuring live music and a mural painting by Cale, the artist who created the beer’s label. SaazBerry fruit ale will be available in Southern California on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles in Ralphs, 7-Eleven, BevMo and Total Wine locations among others.
