•Surrey, England-based Silent Pool Distillery has begun exporting its gin to the United States. Silent Pool Gin, bottled at 43% abv and retailing at $44.95 a 750-ml., is being distributed by California-based Wine Warehouse, mainly to top accounts in San Francisco and Beverly Hills. Distribution is slated to expand to Illinois and New York this fall. Silent Pool, founded two years ago, also makes a navy strength gin at 57%-abv called Admiral Collingwood, and two gin-based cordials, one strawberry the other blackberry, both at 30% abv.

•Asheville, North Carolina-based Hi-Wire Brewing is launching three limited release beers this September. Earlier this month, Hi-Wire unveiled Sour Pumpkin Ale and Dry-Hopped Brett Farmhouse Ale. The pumpkin sour clocks in at 8.6% abv and will be available in 375-ml. bottles in select markets, while Brett Farmhouse Ale is a 5.5%-abv brew made with Brettanomyces and available exclusively at Hi-Wire’s Asheville taproom. The third release, a 4.2%-abv wheat ale brewed with blackberries, blueberries and boysenberries called Purple Punch, will be released on September 8 in four-packs of 16-ounce cans in limited quantities throughout Hi-Wire’s distribution footprint.

•Sweden’s Rekorderlig Cider has debuted Mango-Raspberry, the sixth flavor in its U.S. portfolio. The new cider, which features mango and raspberry flavors, is currently available in over 15 states, with national distribution slated for early 2018. Retail priced at $9.99 a four-pack of 11.2-ounce cans, Mango-Raspberry joins Pear, Strawberry Lime, Wild Berry, Passionfruit and Spiced Apple flavors in the hard cider line. Rekorderlig is imported by South Carolina–based Total Beverage Solution.

•San Diego’s Green Flash Brewing has introduced Treasure Chest 2017, the seventh annual beer release in its charitable Treasure Chest program. The 5.7%-abv brew is made with Green Bullet, Warrior, Citra, Cascade and Simcoe hops and infused with passion fruit tea. Treasure Chest 2017 will be available on draft across 37 states through October. The beer’s rollout will be accompanied by a variety of on-premise, tiki-themed events in key markets, with proceeds benefiting breast cancer charities such as Prevent Cancer, Susan G. Komen San Diego and Susan G. Komen Tidewater.

•BCGA Concept Corp., a New York-based maker of craft beverages, is introducing a new alcohol-free line called Brooklyn Craft this fall that includes a sugar-free ginger beer, an extra spicy ginger beer and a sugar-free ginger ale. The company, which launched in 2010, has been known until now for its Bruce Cost ginger beverages, including a ginger beer, and its Brooklyn Organics line. Suggested prices for the new Craft line are $1.79 a 12-ounce bottle and $6.99 a 12-pack. The products have been distributed to select New York retailers and will roll out nationally this fall.
