•California-based Firestone Walker Brewing has released Mocha Merlin Oatmeal Stout across the U.S. The 5.5%-abv stout is brewed with HoneyCo coffee and cocoa nibs from Ghana. The coffee is added directly to the fermentation tank and the cocoa is steeped in the beer. The beer is brewed with lactose to give it a soft texture and a hint of sweetness. Firestone Walker’s Mocha Merlin Oatmeal Stout is available on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce cans.

•Dripping Springs, Texas-based San Luis Spirits has launched 1876 Texas Straight Bourbon whiskey. With a mashbill of 80% Texas corn and 20% Secale Cereale Oklahoma winter rye, the new Bourbon is a mix of three-, four- and five-year-old whiskies aged in American white oak barrels. Distributed across the Lone Star State, 1876 Texas Straight Bourbon is the sixth product in the San Luis Spirits family, joining Well No. 1876 Vodka, Dripping Springs Vodka, Dripping Springs Texas Orange Vodka, Dripping Springs Artisan Gin and Dripping Springs Traditional Gin.
