October 4, 2017•Anchor Brewing Company is debuting a new beer, Anchor Coffee Porter, this month. The 6.7%-abv porter is brewed with coffee from San Francisco’s Four Barrel. The coffee is brewed hot and then flash-chilled within 10 seconds in a process said to best preserve the coffee’s vital aromatics and key acids. Anchor Coffee Porter is 10% Ethiopian coffee and is made with 2-row pale, caramel, black and wheat malt. The new entry will be available through February in Anchor’s distribution area in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft.
