•The Wine Group has extended its partnership with Johnson Brothers, signing a new multi-year deal with the Minnesota-based distributor. The agreement spans seven markets, including Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia and Hawaii. The third-largest wine marketer in the U.S., The Wine Group’s portfolio includes the Franzia, Cupcake, Fisheye, Flipflop, Corbett Canyon and Chloe brands, among others.

•U.S. importer Ethica Wines has added Italian winery Fattoria Le Pupille to its nationwide portfolio. The lineup includes a 100%-Sangiovese Super Tuscan—Poggio Valente Toscana Rosso IGT ($50 a 750-ml.)—as well as the Saffredi vineyard–sourced IGT Maremma Toscana ($125), and a white blend, Poggio Argentato IGT Toscana Bianco ($25). Ethica also handles Fattoria Le Pupille’s Morellino di Scansano DOCG ($21.99) and Morellino di Scansano Riserva DOCG ($35). The Winebow Group previously imported Fattoria Le Pupille to the U.S.
