Wine Spectator: Amazon Halts Online Wine Sales

Amazon notified wine producers on Monday that the company would shut down its Amazon Wine business at the end of this year. Following the company’s acquisition of Whole Foods Market this summer, rumors had been swirling that Amazon would revamp or terminate its existing online wine platform due to potential tied-house conflicts. Wine Spectator has the full story.
