•Texas-based Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. will release its Bourbon Barrel Aged Winter Warmer next month. The 10%-abv beer is brewed with English hops and dark malts before aging in Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey casks. Rahr brewed this year’s edition of its Winter Warmer to be bolder and higher in alcohol in order to stand up to the flavors imparted by the whiskey barrels. Rahr & Sons Bourbon Barrel Aged Winter Warmer will be available in four-packs of 12-ounce cans across the company’s distribution footprint. The brand has expanded into Kansas and Nebraska this year and will produce over 20,000 barrels in 2017.
