•Beam Suntory-owned Bowmore single malt Scotch whisky has launched the Vintner’s Trilogy, a series of limited edition whiskies aged in wine casks at the distillery’s No. 1 Vaults. The new range includes the 52.5%-abv Bowmore 18-year-old Double Matured Manzanilla—aged in both ex-Bourbon and ex-Manzanilla Sherry casks—and Bowmore 26-year-old Wine Matured, a 48.7% abv whisky first aged for 13 years in ex-Bourbon casks, then aged 13 additional years in wine barriques. The two whiskies retail at $127 a 750-ml. and $540, respectively. A third, 27-year-old expression aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in Port pipes, is slated for release next year.

•Indiana’s Easley Winery has completed a $2 million expansion to its downtown Indianapolis facility, including a fully automated bottling line, which will allow the company to double production capacity. Easley is on track to produce 110,000 cases for 2017. Earlier this year, the company began selling 1.5-liter bottles of its popular Reggae Sangria and Reggae Margarita in Kroger, Walmart, CVS and Meijer. Easley’s Reggae line is available in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia and New York retailing at $6.99-$8.99 a 750-ml.
