Moët Hennessy Names New President For Estates & Wines Unit
December 1, 2017Krug president Margaret Henriquez is set to take the reins at Moët Hennessy’s Estates & Wines division effective January 1. Henriquez, who will also continue to helm Krug, replaces Jean-Guillaume Prats as head of the Estates & Wines unit, which includes the Cloudy Bay, Cape Mentelle, Newton, Chandon, Terrazas de los Andes, Cheval des Andes and Numanthia brands. Prats is departing to become president and CEO of Domaines Barons de Rothschild, a move announced in recent weeks.
Henriquez joined Moët Hennessy in 2001 as CEO of Bodegas Chandon in Argentina and became president of Krug in 2009. In her newly expanded role, she’ll report to Moët Hennessy chairman and CEO Philippe Schaus and join the luxury drinks giant’s operational committee. —Daniel Marsteller
